Havana Club Selección de Maestros ("the selection of the masters") is an exceptional quality rum and the ultimate expression of the extraordinary collaboration and collective experience of the team of experienced rum masters - members of the "Guild of Masters of Cuban Rum" - among the inspiring leadership of the talented Don José Navarro. This rum is a blend of the hand-selected favorite rum of each of these rum masters, which is then matured and finished in specially selected American white oak barrels before being bottled straight from the barrel at 45%abv. The result is this unparalleled aromatic rum with its exceptional quality and notes of tobacco, leather and coffee. The nose includes maple syrup, ginger and oak. Tasty on the tongue with lots of character and spicy influences. Chocolate orange, espresso, wood and caramel. The aftertaste is medium and contains smoke and fruit.
