This Barcelo Imperial rum undergoes an average aging process of 10 years in brand new white oak barrels.
The rum has a full and rich character surrounded by delicious aromas of cinnamon, orange, apple and dates. There is a mild smokiness with hints of new leather, a combination that gives a taste of the intriguing complexity of this rum. The taste itself is very smooth, and also very balanced, with notes of toffee, cocoa and hints of pepper.
